This rechargeable edition has been thoughtfully adapted so the radio is easier to position, access and operate within everyday living spaces — supporting independence and reducing frustration. With just a single press of a button, users can enjoy their favourite radio stations without the risk of accidental de-tuning or confusing controls.
After conducting extensive research, we found that many people stop using radios altogether due to complex buttons and the distress caused by slipping between stations and hearing white noise. Working directly with people living with dementia and their carers, we developed this Rechargeable One Button Radio to remove those barriers and support confident, stress-free use.
Like any other radio, it features both AM and FM stations, with the ability to store up to 30 preset channels — all managed through hidden controls to maintain simplicity.
With its stylish yet traditional aesthetic, the Ravencourt Living Rechargeable One Button Radio blends seamlessly into the home while prioritising dignity, ease and accessibility.
